I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. with a primary focus on Explainable AI (XAI) and fairness in networks.

Explainable AI (XAI) is a field that aims to make the decision-making process of AI models more transparent and understandable to humans. In an increasingly AI-driven world, it's crucial to have AI systems that not only provide accurate predictions but also allow us to comprehend how and why they make those predictions.

My research interests encompass a wide range of topics within XAI, including:

• Counterfactual explanations
• Fairness enhancement for individuals and groups
• Graph-based algorithm explanations
• The exploration of contrastive explanations for specific input data pairs

By addressing these areas, I aim to contribute to the development of AI models that are not only powerful but also interpretable and fair, which is essential for building trust and accountability in AI systems.

I served as a scientific researcher at the Computer Science & Engineering Department, collaborating with the Center for Digital Innovation (CDI) of Pfizer in Greece. My primary focus was on developing innovative solutions for countering health misinformation.

Fake news and online misinformation pose significant threats, particularly in the medical domain. Our project aimed to provide automated, machine-learning-powered tools for understanding, assessing, and combating health misinformation online, contributing to global health and well-being.
